- David Borck was a snare drummer from 1958 to 1963. He then became an assistant drum instructor for the Corps through 1971. Dave was a CSJA and DCI judge for 26 years. A retired administrative services manager, Dave now lives in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
- Wayne Mounsey was a snare drummer from 1939 to 1951. He also marched with the Mel Tierney Vanguard (1953) and the Skokie Indians senior corps. A retired Purchasing and Fleet Management executive, Wayne now lives in Roselle, Illinois.
Significant assistance and materials supplied by:
- Bruce Borck played baritone bugle from 1962 to 1966. Bruce colorized the beautiful color Norwood Park crest logo, and he has scanned and optimized most of the images found on this website.
- Jack Bornhoeft was a drummer from 1928 to 1936. Jack now lives in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.
- Dale Bowman played French horn from 1951 to 1956. He also marched with the Skokie Indians, Men of Brass and the Culver City Statesmen (California). Dale is a retired aerospace engineer who now runs a management training business. He lives in Lompoc, California.
- Tom Cushing played soprano from 1954 to 1959. He also marched with the Skokie Indians senior corps. Tom designed the beautiful color Norwood Park crest logo that is used on this website and in the book. Tom is employed as a commercial artist and lives in Griffith, Indiana.
- Larry Kalck played cymbals and rudimental bass drum from 1960 to 1965. He is employed by a government contractor as the Graphics Manager for the US Army Environmental Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Larry lives in Fallston, Maryland, and is the webmaster for this website.
- Doris Ruchalski, is the mother of Diane, who played baritone bugle in the Cadets and Imperials beginning in 1972. Doris was a chaperone, served on the Board of Directors and the Booster Board, holding many various offices on both, then was the editor of the Corps newsletter, The Courier, until the Corps officially folded in 1987. Doris has maintained an extensive archive of Corps history that she salvaged from the final records of the Corps. Doris lives in Chicago.
